Kait James joins Artistic Program Advisory Committee and First Nations Advisory Committee

22.05.25

We are thrilled to advise that Wadawurrung artist Kait James has recently joined our Artistic Program Advisory Committee and First Nations Advisory Committee.

Drawing on both her Indigenous and Anglo heritage, Kait James’ practice interrogates stereotypes and colonial narratives through a lens that is both critical and subversive. Her exhibition ‘Kait James: Red Flags’ curated by Aaron Bradbrook is currently touring nationally in a partnership with Warrnambool Art Gallery and NETS Victoria.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Isobel Morphy-Walsh, Yhonnie Scarce and Myles Russell-Cook for their incredible contributions to our Artistic Program Advisory Committee over many years. Their guidance and support have truly made a difference in our program, and we are grateful for their time and passion. They will be deeply missed!
