      As the peak body for touring, NETS Victoria provides advice and support on all kinds of exhibition touring to the sector at no cost. Individuals and organisations are welcome to meet face to face or contact us to seek advice on the practicalities of developing and touring your exhibition.

          Promote your touring exhibition

          To offer your exhibition to galleries to help with developing your itinerary, our publication Art_a_base is a great resource. Art_a_base promotes exhibitions available to tour within Victoria and interstate and aims to inform and support the public gallery sector in programming and touring exhibitions. Exhibitions listed might be in development, on show at a venue, or already on tour. This free biannual publication is produced and distributed by NETS Victoria in summer and winter.

            Funding

            Funding for touring in Victoria can be sought through Arts Victoria's Touring Victoria program. The Touring Victoria program supports, encourages and enables the touring of quality, professional Victorian arts product to regional and outer-metropolitan communities across the State.

            For funding for a national touring exhibition, the federal government provides support through the Visions of Australia program. Visions of Australia aims to enable more Australians to enjoy our diverse culture by accessing exhibitions of cultural material. It provides funding to eligible organisations to develop and tour exhibitions of Australian cultural material across Australia.
